Euphoric moments between melody and staccato are coined by lyrics. Lyricist Arne and sometimes Benjamin provides the music of Captain Planet a unique character. Chosen words and their technic how to associate each line with the composition is the point it´s magic rises. Musicwise on one hand melodies give Captain Planet it´s swing protecting the beauty of poetry. Otherhands the rythmsection Badda and Marco force a speed, confrontating romances on heavy punk- and hardcoreish breaks.
The kind of writing songs is not one of that wagging fingers including a speech as from above, but you can and should always hear the critical tongue that leaves a lot of spaces for interpretations. You can listen to it and horizons made of memories and emotions open up in front of you. Did we experience that together? Music is desire that comes from memory and memory that comes from desire, and desire to be child and desire to grow up again. And-there you go- the moment you get what you want, you want to change it for something different. Captain Planet is the most intense emotion. It is so much more than a short adventure, and that ties you down.
